After his successful stint with Tron: Legacy back in 2010, director Joseph Kosinski took his Hollywood career to a new height with Only the Brave, a 2017 film that was based on the true story of the Granite Mountain Hotshots.
The film is largely considered a respectful and accurate tribute to the firefighting crew (with an 87% rating on Rotten Tomatoes), but it has one thing better than The Lost Bus: accuracy. The Lost Bus deviated significantly from the real events of the 2018 Camp Wildfire, while Only the Brave took special care, and only a few scenes were dramatized to heighten the tension of the movie.
