TV, movie stars, celebrities to expect for Comic-Con 2025

7 celebrity exes forced to work together after breaking up

While comic books and popular arts are the heart of Comic-Con International in San Diego, it’s hard to deny the star power at the annual convention.

This year, the expected appearance by George Lucas is making waves among fans, and familiar names such as Quinta Brunson and Patton Oswalt will make return visits to the San Diego Convention Center. During Comic-Con, locals may see these stars roaming about the city.

Here’s who to watch for this year.

Dan Aykroyd: Celebrating the 45th anniversary of “The Blues Brothers” and the upcoming “Z2 Blues Brothers” graphic novel, iconic actor and comedian Dan Aykroyd will appear on a panel with his daughter, Stella Aykroyd, and Judy Belushi’s son, Luke Pisano. They will also be joined by Rantz Hoseley and Josh Bernstein. 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Thursday, Indigo Ballroom. 

Alec Baldwin: Peanuts fan Alec Baldwin will join a panel celebrating 75 years of Charlie Brown, Linus and the gang. 1:45 p.m. Friday. Room 6DE.

Jacob Anderson (Raleigh Ritchie): Jacob Anderson, star of AMC’s “Interview with the Vampire,” and previously known for his role of Grey Worm in “Game of Thrones,” will appear on the panel for Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe, joined by co-stars Sam Reid and Eric Bogosian, executive producers Mark Johnson and Rolin Jones and composer Daniel Hart. Anderson is also a popular indie-R&B music artist under the alias Raleigh Ritchie. 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Ballroom 20.

Alison Brie: Actor Alison Brie, known for “Community,” “Mad Men” and “Promising Young Woman,” will join her husband Dave Franco for a panel discussing their upcoming film, “Together.” The couple is producing and starring. 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Ballroom 20.

Quinta Brunson: The Emmy-winning creator and star of ABC’s sitcom “Abbott Elementary” will appear on a panel alongside her castmates, including Tyler James Williams, Janelle James, Chris Perfetti, Lisa Ann Walter, William Stanford Davis and Sheryl Lee Ralph. 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Saturday, Indigo Ballroom. 

John Cena: Executive producer and actor John Cena will join DC studio-head James Gunn and his castmates for a panel on the HBO Max series “Peacemaker” from DC Studios and Warner Bros. 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Hall H.

Peter Dinklage: Widely recognized for his portrayal of Tyrion in “Game of Thrones,” actor Peter Dinklage will appear at the panel for the reimagined cult-classic “Toxic Avenger” directed by Macon Blair, joined by his castmates Elijah Wood, Jacob Tremblay and Taylour Paige. 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Hall H.

Guillermo Del Toro: Academy Award-winning director Guillermo del Toro will join George Lucas and Doug Chiang to offer a sneak peek of the new Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. The conversation will be moderated by Queen Latifah. 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sunday, Hall H. 

Elle Fanning: Elle Fanning, best known for “A Complete Unknown,” “Super 8,” “The Great” and the recently-announced film “Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping” will appear on a panel for the upcoming film “Predator: Badlands” alongside director Dan Trachtenberg and co-star Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi. 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Friday, Hall H.

Paul Feig: Paul Feig, director of “Bridesmaids,” “The Heat,” “Spy,” “Ghostbusters” and the creator of the series “Freaks and Geeks” will join Rob Reiner for a directors-on-directors discussion. The conversation will be moderated by Collider’s editor-in-chief Steven Weintraub. 2:45 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Hall H.

Dave Franco: Actor Dave Franco, known for “21 Jump Street,” “Neighbors,” “Now You See Me” and “The Disaster Artist” will join his wife Alison Brie for a panel discussing their upcoming film, “Together.” The couple is producing and starring. 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Ballroom 20.

Ryan Gosling: Legendary leading man Ryan Gosling, most recently known “Barbie’s” Ken, will appear on a panel for the upcoming sci-fi thriller “Project Hail Mary” alongside director-producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, author Andy Weir and screenwriter Drew Goddard. 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Saturday, Hall H. 

James Gunn: The head of DC Studios and writer/director of the newest DC blockbuster “Superman” will be in attendance for the panel on HBO Max’s series “Peacemaker,” from DC Studios and Warner Bros. 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Hall H.

Tiffany Haddish: Comedian and actor Tiffany Haddish will join fellow castmates of Hulu’s animated series “Solar Opposites,” including Thomas Middleditch and Sean Giambrone, as well as executive producers Mike McMahan, Josh Bycel and Sydney Ryan. 3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Friday, Indigo Ballroom.

Michael C. Hall: Star and executive producer of “Dexter: Resurrection” Michael C. Hall will appear on a panel alongside executive producers Clyde Phillips and Scott Reynolds, and cast members James Remar, David Zayas, Jack Alcott, David Dastmalchian and Krysten Ritter. The panel will be moderated by Jamie Chung of “Dexter: New Blood.” 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Ballroom 20.

Ryan Kwanten: Ryan Kwanten, known for his role of Jason Stackhouse in “True Blood,” will join writer/director Luke Sparke and cast members Tricia Helfer, Nick Wechsler and Jeremy Piven for a panel and exclusive footage showing of “Primitive War.” 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. Friday, Ballroom 20.

Queen Latifah: Emmy and Grammy-award winning rapper and actor Queen Latifah will be moderating the conversation between George Lucas, Guillermo Del Toro and George Chiang for a sneak peak of the new Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. 11 a.m. to noon. Sunday, Hall H. 

Lawrence Brothers: Joey, Matt and Andrew Lawrence, former Disney stars who have a podcast “The Brotherly Love Podcast,” will discuss their first graphic novel “The Lawrence Brothers Detective Agency.” 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Sunday. Room 6DE.

George Lucas: Legendary director and creator of Lucasfilm George Lucas will join Guillermo del Toro will join George Lucas and Doug Chiang to offer a sneak peek of the new Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. The conversation will be moderated by Queen Latifah. 11 a.m. to noon. Sunday, Hall H.

Anthony Mackie: Executive producer and star Anthony Mackie will join other producers and cast members for a panel on season two of “Twisted Metal,” Peacock’s post-apocalyptic action comedy series. 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Ballroom 20.

Bob Odenkirk: Iconic actor, producer, comedian and screenwriter Bob Odenkirk — best known for “Better Call Saul” — will attend a one-on-one conversation with Collider’s editor-in-chief Steven Weintraub to talk about his many projects. 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. Friday, Ballroom 20.

Patton Oswalt: Comedian and actor Patton Oswalt, famously voicing Ratatouille in Disney’s “Ratatouille,” will appear three times throughout the duration of Comic-Con. The first: a roundtable of “Minor Threats” creators and comedians at 3 p.m. on Thursday in room 6DE. Second, he will appear on the Actors-Turned-Comic-Writers panel at 12:30 p.m. on Friday in room 6DE. Finally, he will be a guest presenter at the 27th annual Eisner Awards, otherwise known as the “Oscars” of the comics industry. The awards ceremony will start at 8 p.m. on Friday in the Indigo Ballroom.

Rob Reiner: Rob Reiner, director of “This Is Spinal Tap,” “Stand by Me,” “The Princess Bride,” “Misery” and “When Harry Met Sally” will join Paul Feig for a directors-on-directors discussion. The conversation will be moderated by Collider’s editor-in-chief Steven Weintraub. 2:45 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Hall H.

Andy Samberg: Andy Samberg will appear on Comedy Central’s panel with the creators and cast of the series “South Park,” “Beavis & Butt-Head” and “Digman!.” He will be joined by Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Mike Judge. 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Thursday, Hall H. 

George Takei: The Star Trek legend, 88, will talk about his life and career, as well as his memoir, “It Rhymes with Takei,” and graphic novel, “They Called Us Enemy.” 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Room 6A.

Ashley Tisdale: Known for acting in such Disney hits as “High School Musical” and “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody,” and now as the founder of the Frenshe wellness brand, Ashley Tisdale will appear at Comic-Con for a “Phineas and Ferb” panel. Organizers say this is the first time the cast and creators will reunite in over a decade. She will be joined by Alyson Stoner, Dee Bradley Baker, Vincent Martella, and David Errigo, Jr. 11 a.m. Friday, Indigo Ballroom.

Elijah Wood: Better known as Frodo Baggins in “The Lord of the Rings,” Elijah Wood will appear at the panel for the reimagined cult-classic “Toxic Avenger” directed by Macon Blair, joined by his joined by his castmates Peter Dinklage, Jacob Tremblay and Taylour Paige. 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Hall H.
