ULTRAMAN OMEGA English Dub Comes to YouTube

For the past several years, Tsuburaya Productions has led the charge of bringing Japanese tokusatsu entertainment global (legally). Beginning in 2020, the company has put new episodes up of its flagship Ultraman series on YouTube for fans the world over. But that wasn’t enough. Tsuburaya also began supplying English-language dubbed versions of its shows starting with Ultraman Blazar in 2023. Now, Nerdist can exclusively present the English dubbed trailer for Tsuburaya’s newest series, Ultraman Omega.

This trailer comes just ahead of the official Ultraman panel at L.A. Comic Con as well as two special screenings. Fans will get a sneak peek at the first two English-dubbed episodes, as well as a look at classic Ultraman 1966 episodes remastered in 4K for the very first time.

The series features Ultraman Omega who fell to Earth in human form with no memories of his past, taking up the name Sorato Okida. Compelled to face kaiju by a mysterious, subconscious duty, he defends the planet while forming a bond with the humans and will begin its streaming availability in the U.S. in late November and early December.

Ultraman Omega is the 30th main entry in the Ultra Series, a collection of kaiju and superhero-focused live-action series highlighting Tsuburaya’s trademark special effects work. Ultraman continues its push into North America with Omega as well as continued Marvel Comics and Titan Comics publications and the Ultraman Card Game, Rise Tournament Cup. This is, of course, not to mention last year’s Netflix animated feature film, Ultraman Rising.

I’m a big fan of Ultraman and love how much the big silver giant and his descendants have made their way to viewers on this side of the globe. With the dubbed version, fans who are subtitle averse can still enjoy this unique and exciting slice of Japanese pop culture.

Ultraman Omega is available subtitled on Tsuburaya’s Ultraman YouTube channel now. The English dub will premiere later in November.
