Meryl Streep will be skipping Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s wedding.
The actress was spotted front row during Milan Fashion Week. Meryl showed up in full Miranda Priestly fashion, wearing the iconic The Devil Wears Prada hairtstyle and cat eye styled sunglasses. Meryl has been spotted filming around New York City for The Devil Wears Prada 2, starring Anne Hathaway.
She was then seen sharing a private moment with Anna Wintour. In the video posted by Vogue, Anna could be heard telling the actress she was “beautiful.”
It seems as if Meryl is the only cast member from “Only Murderers in the Building” to be missing Selena and Benny’s “I do’s.” Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Paul Rudd were spotted at a rehearsal dinner for the big day on Friday, Sept. 26.
Selena and Benny first met when they worked together on her hit Same Old Love, before again collaborating on the 2019 single release, I Can’t Get Enough.
They dated secretly for six months before eventually making their blossoming relationship public in late 2023.
Things then stepped up a notch for the couple when Benny proposed to Selena in December 2024. At the time, she shared a snap of her huge diamond ring on Instagram, writing, “forever begins now.”
Since making their relationship public, the two have not stopped gushing about their love for one another. Selena and Benny even released an album together, I Said I Love You First, which featured 16 songs.
Benny has praised Selena many times, which has left her speechless.
