The power of Christ has compelled Universal Pictures to release Mike Flanagan‘s fresh take on The Exorcist in theaters on March 12, 2027.
Rumored to be titled The Exorcist: Martyrs, the next entry will star Scarlett Johansson and “Hamnet” breakout Jacobi Jupe.
Flanagan is writing, directing and producing the newest installment for Universal and Blumhouse-Atomic Monster, which has been described as a “radical new take” on the property.
The movie is a Blumhouse-Atomic Monster and Morgan Creek Entertainment production, in association with Red Room Pictures.
