Actress Urvashi Dholakia, who is popularly known for her work on the small screen, recently penned an emotional note for her twin sons on their birthday. The actress took to her social media account and wrote a long note for twin sons, Kshitij and Sagar. In the note she called them her “twin stars” and expressed pride in the men they are becoming.Urvashi, who shot to popularity after playing the role of Komolika, shared a series of photos on her Instagram account from her twins intimate birthday celebration. The 46-year-old actress thanked them for bringing “twice the magic and countless memories” into her life.She wrote in the caption section: “Born together, growing together & forever connected by love every year I thank God for the miracle of having you both. Seeing the love you share & the Men you are becoming fills my heart with pride HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my twin Stars @kshitijdholakia @sagardholakia.” She added: “Thank you for bringing twice the magic & countless memories into our lives. May life always bless you with happiness, health & endless adventures. Happy Birthday, my babies #2026 #june #twins.”Urvashi entered the entertainment industry at the age of 6. She was first seen in a commercial ad with Revathi. As a child she appeared as Rajlaxmi in the Doordarshan TV series Shrikant.Her first TV role as an adult was in Doordarshan’s Dekh Bhai Dekh followed by Waqt Ki Raftar. Later in the 2000s, she was seen in Ghar Ek Mandir, Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii, Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Kahiin To Hoga.The actress had also participated in the sixth season of the controversial reality show “Bigg Boss” in 2012, where she emerged as the winner of the season and then was seen in historical fantasy series Chandrakanta as Queen Iravati. In 2022, Urvashi made a comeback to the fiction genre in Naagin 6.Recently, the actress appeared in Tum Ho Naa, where she opened up about balancing work, family, and friendships, whilst also making a deeply personal apology to Anita for not being a part of her wedding, and prioritising work over a very important day of her BFF’s life. She said, “As I told you, I hardly had any time at all. I couldn’t give time to my children, nor could I give time to anything else. My only focus was to work, earn money, run the household, give my parents a good life, and provide my children with a good life as well. In that process, I wouldn’t call it a regret, but it still makes me feel bad to this day. I still remember that when Anita got married, I couldn’t attend because I was working. My life has been quite different, I would just go from work to home, and from home back to work. And I am really sorry, from the bottom of my heart, that I missed one of the most precious days of your life. Because I have spent so much time with her during Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli. We all get busy with our own lives. I never got the opportunity to say this before. Today, as I remember it, I am extremely sorry. But I am always going to be there for you.”The actress is currently seen in the reality show Maa Hai Na with her son Kshitij Dholakia, a reality cooking series premiering on ZEE5. It is hosted by Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty.Urvashi was also part of captive reality show ‘The 50’ and managed to reach Top 20 of the show.
