VIAL share the music video their recent single “Creep Smoothie,” released back in June, which conveys the band adopting a more hardcore punk-inspired musicality. Following last year’s burnout album, as well as the band’s rerecorded version of their debut LP Grow Up (now titled Grow The Fuck Up), VIAL continue to expand upon their signature raw artistry with “Creep Smoothie.”
Slamming visceral lyrics alongside a raging, thrashing composition, “Creep Smoothie” is a feminist punk anthem that explores the heavier side of VIAL’s musicianship. The song’s music video, with videography done by Emily Nordstrom, only serves to heighten the song’s inherent ferocity.
Regarding their latest single, the band says, “We wrote this new song feeling really inspired by heavier punk and hardcore projects that we love right now, which lead to a new sound ‘Creep Smoothie’ brings, ushering us into a new era of VIAL.”
Starting November 4, VIAL will hit the road as support for indie rock duo Durry. Throughout November, the punk outfit will play across the Midwest and East Coast, hitting major cities including Chicago, Toronto, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Nashville, and more.
