KIRKWOOD, Mo. – About 20 spirited students traded in their textbooks for scripts for a new film project at St. John Vianney High School—all part of a special homecoming for actor and writer J. Lee.
Lee, a class of 1999 graduate, has enjoyed a diverse career in the entertainment business. He lends his voice to animated shows “Family Guy” and “American Dad” and appeared on camera in “The Orville.”
The comedy “Jacob Beats Up Nate”, written and directed by Lee, will film some scenes at Vianney. The film received a $100,000 grant from St. Louis Film Project this past April.
