Warner’s awards darling Sinners rose to the top of the Official Film Chart, the weekly U.K. home entertainment sales chart, for the week ending Jan. 28. The top billing occurred in the movie’s 33rd week of retail release.
The title held off Columbia/Sony Pictures’ horror sequel 28 Years Later, which moved up two spots to No. 2 in its 21st week on the charts.
Universal’s Wicked follow-up Wicked: For Good dropped two spots to No. 3 in its fourth week on the chart.
Paramount’s The Running Man dropped two spots to No. 4, while 20th Century Studios’ Predator: Badlands also dropped two spots to No. 4 in their second and third weeks on the chart, respectively.
Signature Entertainment’s Dracula, starring Caleb Landry Jones, Christoph Waltz, Zoë Bleu and Guillaume de Tonquédec, remained No. 6 in its eighth week on the chart.
Disney’s sci-fi sequel Tron: Ares shot up 40 spots to No. 5, followed by Signature Entertainment’s Dracula, starring Caleb Landry Jones, Christoph Waltz, Zoë Bleu and Guillaume de Tonquédec, which dropped two spots to No. 6 in its seventh week on the chart.
Warner’s Oscar-nominated One Battle After Another moved up two spots to No. 7, while Universal’s Black Phone 2 re-entered the Top 10 at No. 8 from No. 17 in the previous-week period.
Universal’s new release Bugonia, starring Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons, entered the chart at No. 9. The Oscar-nominated film generated $41.6 million at the global box office, including $17.7 million across North American screens.
Finally, the studio’s sequel Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 finished down two spots to No. 8.
