Brewers owner Mark Attanasio talks TV situation, Pat Murphy extension
Milwaukee Brewers owner Mark Attanasio said the team estimated a minus-$20 million impact from the TV situation this season in terms of revenue/expenses.
Three teams in Major League Baseball have started the season winning five of six games and the Milwaukee Brewers are one of them.
After dominating their opening series with the Chicago White Sox and taking two of three from the Tampa Bay Rays at American Family Field, the Brewers travel to Kansas City to begin a six-game road trip against the Royals on Friday, April 3.
Milwaukee’s offense is averaging 7.5 runs a game, with contributions from a variety of players. Brice Turang leads the club with nine hits, while Jake Bauers and Gary Sanchez have already totaled four home runs. Sanchez has hit a pair in only six at-bats.
The Brewers’ pitching staff is missing a few bats, as well. The Brewers are averaging 12.66 strikeouts per game and have a 2.83 ERA.
