Mae Martin has set a first-look deal with Netflix, Variety has learned exclusively.
Under the deal, Martin will continue to develop and create TV series for the streaming giant, while the deal also includes a new stand up special.
“Over the last seven years I’ve been lucky to build relationships at Netflix that have felt supportive and creatively empowering, allowing my stories to reach a global audience,” Martin said. “I’m so grateful to continue that relationship, and this vote of confidence will allow me to elevate other voices as well! I can’t wait to show everyone what I’ve been cooking up.
