Kristin Cavallari came to play and her abs came to slay Thursday night.
“The Hills” and “Laguna Beach” alum helped kick off Miami Swim Week, rocking the outdoor runway at the Mondrian Hotel in South Beach in style. The show was a collaboration of L.A. fashion brand RESA and Cavallari’s Nashville-based lifestyle company Uncommon James.
The partnership reportedly came together organically after Cavallari discovered the female-founded RESA last year and quickly became a fan.
Down the catwalk, the onetime MTV star strutted in a serpent-print bikini top and matching mini sarong to cheers and whistles. A remix of Britney Spears’ 2001 classic, “I’m a Slave 4 U,” blasted over the speakers.
Cavallari posted a clip of her and her spray-tanned, oiled-up six-pack in action on Instagram. The caption: “We did a thing.”
The mother of three (who co-parents three kids with her ex, retired Bears and Dolphins quarterback Jay Cutler) was up bright and early Friday morning. From her hotel terrace overlooking the ocean, the 39-year-old showed off her skincare routine, telling followers she was still “on a high” from the night before.
Someone in the comments piped in: “After that runway I will do ANYTHING you tell me to do.”
So, how does the multitasking entrepreneur look like she’s ready for a bodybuilding competition? A mix of fantastic genes and hard work.
Cavallari told online women’s mag Bustle last year that she works out daily, one day with a trainer. Weights are a big part of her fitness routine; the “Let’s Be Honest” podcaster revealed she can deadlift a jaw-dropping 150 pounds.
The Denver native also gave up the goods on how she was able to rule like a boss at the Mondrian.
“You have to fake it till you make it. I think it’s important to have a pep talk with yourself,” she said. “Ultimately, confidence comes from taking risks and doing hard things and then realizing, ‘Oh, wow, I can do this, and I’m not going to crumble.’”
