Pitch a tent, roast marshmallows, sing songs around a campfire and enjoy nighttime activities followed by an outdoor breakfast. Tents, campfire supplies and food are provided, and a supply list will be emailed before the event. For families with children ages 6 and up; advanced registration is required.

Morning races start at 9 a.m. and afternoon races start at 1 p.m. Kids who want to race can reserve a car at no cost by contacting Stan Iglehart at 630-841-8832 at least one week in advance.

Gamers in grades 6-12 can put their video game knowledge to the test in this Kahoot! trivia challenge at the Tinley Park Public Library and compete for a small prize. Sign-up is required.

Meet snakes, lizards, birds and mammals from Mexico, Ecuador, Brazil and beyond at this live animal program from Animal Quest at the Lockport Branch of the White Oak Library. Kids will love getting up close with the furry, scaled and feathered friends while handlers share fun facts. Registration is required for all members of your party and adults must stay engaged with their child throughout the program.
