What is Puppy Bowl?
The Puppy Bowl is a three-hour game between Team Ruff and Team Fluff.
The teams are made up of puppies that need to be adopted from various shelters throughout the country. Puppies are brought to a football field-style play pen where they run around and play with various toys on the field. If one of the pups takes a toy and runs into the end zone, the pups team earns points.
However, the score of the game isn’t that important. The point of the contest is to get the pups adopted and to bring attention to the organizations who are taking care of the dogs.
Who are the dogs in the Puppy Bowl?

Are Puppy Bowl 2026 dogs available to adopt?
All of the dogs can be adopted. Many are already adopted by the time the show airs, however, thanks to their cuteness level. Even the Puppy Bowl crew occasionally grabs a few.
