Multi-platinum selling Scottish singer/songwriter Lewis Capaldi has announced a Vancouver date on his coming North American tour.
Since releasing his debut Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, Capaldi has gone from an online singer posting from his bedroom to having the biggest-selling record in the United Kingdom in 2019 and 2020. His tune Someone You Loved took home the BRIT award for song of the year. His 2023 followup Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent hit No. 1 in the U.K. and delivered a trio of No. 1 singles with Pointless, Wish You The Best, and Forget Me.
The documentary Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now hit the top of the Netflix chart and was nominated for a best film music Grammy. Capaldi releases his new EP, titled Survive, on Nov. 14 in advance of his coming tour.
Capaldi has a Canadian connection having collaborated with Ontario singer Jessie Reyez on the song Rush.
Capaldi was diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome in 2023 and announced a hiatus from touring as he needed to focus on his physical and mental health. He returned to performing with a June 2025 set at the Glastonbury Festival which coincided with the release of his new single, Survive. The song became his sixth U.K. No. 1 single and he followed it with Something in the Heavens in September. That song became his seventh No. 1 in the U.K. This is the singer’s first headlining tour of North America.
