Golden Globes 2026: Who dressed best?
Hollywood will be waking up bleary-eyed today after another flashy knees-up in Tinsel Town. We are now in the middle of awards season derby. This weekend it was the Golden Globes, hosted by Nikki Glazer, who returned as host after a stellar job last year. These ceremonies are long – so what were the moments of the night worth talking about?
Of course, we have to begin with Jessie Buckley’s well-deserved win for Best Actress for her portrayal of Agnes Shakespeare in Hamnet. She is now considered the clear front runner for the Oscar, and will probably end up standing in front of several other podiums during the awards season. “This is not a normal feeling or situation to be in,’ she said, telling all the cast and crew she would ‘rave in that Globe for the rest of my life with you’. She gave a shout out to the grip Tomak for his soup making capabilities. “Thanks for bringing your pot to set”. We also got some insight into what her husband Freddie has been up to while she is busy walking the red carpet – enjoying the free canapes and cocktails. Good man, Freddie.
