The City of Gonzales announced Music in the Park will be Nov. 16.
The family-friendly live music event will be at Jambalaya Park, and the lineup will be announced soon.
Licensed food truck vendors can contact the city for a spot at the event.
Here is a look at more upcoming events this fall in Ascension Parish.
Fire department cook-off
The Ascension Parish Touch the Truck and Chili Cook-Off to benefit the District 1 firefighters will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Gonzales Civic Center, 219 S. Irma Blvd.
Chili-tasting tickets will be available for purchase at the front entrance the day of the event.
Trunk or treat event
Small Business Owners of Ascension will host a trunk or treat event from 4-7 p.m. Oct. 11 at Tanger Outlets in Gonzales.
Tribute event
A Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne will be held at the VFW Post 3693 in Gonzales from 6-10 p.m. Oct. 11.
Trunk or treat
The Arc of East Ascension will host a trunk or treat drive through event from 5:30-8 p.m. Oct. 15 at its location, 1122 E. Ascension Complex Blvd., Gonzales.
Boucherie and balloon festival
The annual Boucherie and Balloon Festival will be Oct. 17-19 in Sorrento.
The festival will include jambalaya and crackling cookoffs, hot air balloons, live music, food and craft vendors and activities for children.
Gonzales fall fest
The second annual City of Gonzales Fall Fest will be from 1-4 p.m. Oct. 26 in the Price LeBlanc PACE Center.
The event is free and will include an indoor trunk or treat, pumpkin painting, live entertainment, face painting, games, activities and a magic show.
Music festival
The Boots on the Bayou music festival will be Oct. 31-Nov. 1 at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales.
Scheduled performers are Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Paker McCollum, Carly Pearce, Riley Green, Marcus King Band, Maddox Batson, Tyler Braden, Chase Tyler, John Foster, Elle King, Ashley Cooke and Kruse Brothers.

Veterans parade
A veterans parade will begin at 2 p.m. Nov. 9 in Gonzales.
Sponsored by the Ascension Veterans Memorial Park Foundation, registration will open in September.
The route will go from Irma Boulevard to Worthey Road, then Burnside Avenue to Cornerview Street.
Donaldsonville market
The Donaldsonville farmer’s market takes place every first Saturday of the month from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. in Louisiana Square, located in the 300 block of Railroad Avenue.
