We’re now fully in September, and with that means the inevitable countdown to the highlight of the year. No, not Halloween or Christmas (although we may have already written our lists), it’s the countdown to I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here. But when does the series start?
The ITV competition reality show is set to release its 25th season later this year, with Ant and Dec returning to put a group of celebrities through their paces in the Australian jungle, with Bushtucker Trials including the famous (and gross) eating challenges.
So when does the series start? Here’s everything you need to know about the show’s release date and all the other important information too.
When does I’m a Celebrity 2025 start?
As of yet ITV are yet to announce an official start for the series, but given the previous years’ start dates we can make a pretty good estimation.
The series always takes place in late November and runs for three weeks, ending in mid-December, hence everyone’s association of the show with the festive period. And traditionally the show always starts on a Sunday night.
In the last few years the series has started on the below dates:
- Series 24 – 17th November
- Series 23 – 19th November
- Series 22 – 6th November
- Series 21 – 21st November
- Series 20 – 15th November
Given the show’s leaning towards the mid point of November, we reckon this year’s show is likely to kick off on either 16th or 23rd November.
Who will be hosting I’m a Celebrity 2025?
It really couldn’t be anyone else but Ant and Dec, who are thankfully returning for another series of the show. They’ll also be in full I’m a Celebrity mode as they’ll also be filming the second season of I’m a Celebrity…South Africa, which is due for release in 2026 and will see former campmates return for even tougher trials.
Where will I be able to watch I’m a Celebrity 2025?
As always the show will be broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX, and available for catchup on ITVX. Usually the show airs every night for three weeks at 9pm.
