Global popstar Taylor Swift has announced a new album, now available for preorder on her official website.

Swift confirmed the release of “The Life of a Showgirl” on a podcast teaser alongside Travis and Jason Kelce posted at 12:12 a.m. ET on Aug. 12. The singer pulled out a blurred-out album cover on the “New Heights” podcast for her new project.

The cover is also blurred on her website.

Here’s what to know about the release of Swift’s new album, and how to watch her full announcement on the “New Heights” podcast.

Fans can preorder the album on taylorswift.com, but no release date has been shared yet.

Taylor Swift orange era

The color scheme of Swift’s new album is reportedly orange.

Her past albums or ‘eras’ are each defined by their color and aesthetic, according to Marie Claire.

Rumors that her next album would be orange-themed started back in 2024 when Taylor began wearing orange during her Eras Tour, and lingered throughout the rest of the tour, Marie Claire reported.

The “New Heights” podcast shared a photo of Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce next to a silhouette of Swift.

The glittery background orange is the same background seen on a countdown clock on her website three hours before the announcement and also on her letter to fans announcing the ownership of her masters.

Was Taylor Swift on ‘New Heights?’

Yes, Swift appeared on the sports podcast “New Heights” with Jason and Travis Kelce. The show premieres new episodes on Wednesdays, with Swift’s appearance expected to be released on Aug. 13.

The podcast can be watched on YouTube. You can also listen in on the Wondery App or wherever you get your podcasts.
