Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun‘s romance seems to be heating up. In fact, inside sources just told People that she celebrated her 28th birthday with Braun, but that’s not the biggest bombshell.
“She’s having fun with Scooter and enjoys dating him. [She] had a great time celebrating her birthday with” Braun,” the inside source said to the outlet. “He’s easy to be around and an intriguing guy. [Sweeney] is back to work now, though. She feels very blessed to have such an amazing career. She’s very focused and super hard-working.”
Now what’s the bombshell? Well, insider sources claim they got together even earlier than people originally thought. They told People the pair had “something going on already” when they attended Bezos and Sanchez’s wedding, saying, “They hung out in Italy for the Bezos wedding. Syd was intrigued — Scooter’s a charmer. He’s confident, but also sweet and very attentive. He’s not really her type, but she enjoyed the attention.”

For those who don’t know, it all started when insiders revealed to Star Magazine in late Aug 2025 that the controversial stars are having a summer romance, with rumors ramping up even more after they were spotted together in Venice, Italy, back in June during Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding.
It was all later confirmed to TMZ that the romance is “casual,” adding, “Sydney has just ended a relationship and she’s doing what women in their 20’s do — she’s dating.”
Allegedly, Braun was the one who heavily pursued her, and while they’re all PDA-filled now, it seems her pals aren’t in support.
Inside sources told Page Six that ever since the $50 million wedding, Braun was working hard to make them a thing. Allegedly, he’s been “pursuing” her ever since the summer wedding, and while it’s “still new,” it’s escalated beyond a hookup. And they even spent spent Labor Day weekend together at Lake Tahoe along the California-Nevada border!
