Did the royals banish Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie for good?
In the aftermath of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor‘s arrest, reports alleged senior members of The Firm want nothing to do with the sisters. However, one source claimed that it isn’t true.
“The royal family has not distanced themselves from the girls,” an insider told Us Weekly.

“Prince Williamand Kate Middleton are close with them,” the source claimed. “They have been through enough. They are not being blamed. There is a lot of compassion. They are not pariahs. They are cared for and loved under the circumstances, which are incredibly painful.”
Despite both the former Duke of York and Sarah Ferguson being stripped of their titles and evicted from Royal Lodge over their friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, the insider claimed their relatives have “compassion” for Beatrice and Eugenie.
“The royal family’s feelings have not changed. They love the girls,” the source said. “The only feelings that have changed are toward Andrew and Fergie. They don’t hold Beatrice and Eugenie accountable. They are victims. They have had strong royal connections and are still getting support from them.”
Amid the scandal, rumors swirled that the siblings were banned from attending Royal Ascot in June.

“They are not actually planning on doing any public events in the near future because of everything surrounding their parents, because they know that will be the focus,” the insider claimed.
“They were not going to be there anyway. They were not planning on attending,” they added.
Many have called for Beatrice and Eugenie to step away from the monarchy. “In my view, in the future, they will end up losing their royal titles,” expert Richard Palmer told The Mirror.
“I think we’re going to see a lot less of them. They obviously want to keep a low profile at the moment, and in future, I think they’ll just fade into the background,” he predicted.

While the royals are reportedly there for Beatrice and Eugenie, their relationships with Andrew and Sarah have been put to the test.
“The Yorks are just about holding it together as a family, but this has put new strains on their relationships,” an insider told Daily Mail. “The last I heard, the daughters were still supporting both parents behind the scenes.”
