Her work has also earned her invitations to major industry events. In November 2025, she attended Cosmopolitan España’s Influencer Awards, writing in Spanish on Instagram, “Many thanks for having me. It’s a pleasure to be surrounded by people with so much talent.”
She also attended the VI Woman Sport Awards in Barcelona in May 2026.

“I love traveling, but I’m terrified of flying,” she told Woman Madame Figaro. “The two things don’t really go together, but I’m facing my fears little by little. This summer I’m going to take many trips, which you’ll see, both in Spain and abroad…”
She and Yamal met through social media.
Rumors about García and Yamal’s relationship began circulating after the pair was seen together during a trip to Greece in spring 2026.
But according to García, the story behind how they met is much simpler than many fans believed.
While traveling to Los Angeles for Spain’s World Cup match against Austria, she addressed the rumors directly on TikTok. “You’re probably expecting some perfect, crazy love story. Like I saw him in a store, the way it supposedly went down… my savior, my hero,” she said, via Hola!. “Here’s the real story: 3, 2, 1… social media!”
“I’d love to tell you some super crazy story,” she continued. “Like I saw him at an airport, or ran into him and dropped my papers, and he helped me pick them up. Nope, nope, nope. We met on social media.”
García also pushed back on the idea that their relationship began shortly before they were photographed together in Greece.
“People started seeing us together when we went to Greece,” she explained. “I’ve known Lamine for a lot longer than that. Not quite three years, but a good deal more months than people realize, even now.”
She added that the relationship developed gradually.
“We gave things time,” she said. “We also spent a long time talking before seeing each other.”
They made their public debut in May 2026.
After sparking dating rumors, García and Yamal confirmed their relationship by attending FC Barcelona’s end-of-season celebration dinner together in May 2026.
The pair arrived together and later left the event holding hands, marking their first official appearance as a couple.
She’s been one of Yamal’s biggest supporters during the World Cup.
