A few fan-favorite stars are making their way back to the canvas this week.
James Patrick Stuart is officially back on General Hospital as the ever-charming Valentin Cassadine. His return has fans talking, especially since Valentin is still locked up at Steinmauer. His return episodes include a surprise visitor scene set that will continue the Cassadine storyline.
Bluesy Burke steps into the role of Charlotte Cassadine once again. After reuniting with her father, Valentin, last week, Charlotte will face emotional fireworks at home as the family storyline intensifies.
Another beloved face, Genie Francis (Laura Collins), returns after a brief hiatus. The Port Charles mayor reenters the scene just as the town’s chaos escalates. Francis, a cornerstone of the General Hospital cast, was last seen in September during Monica’s memorial.
Finn Carr (Rocco Falconeri) also features prominently in the unfolding Cassadine and Falconeri family storylines this week.
Paige Herschell makes a comeback as Michael’s alibi on the night of Drew’s shooting, adding another layer to the mystery. Meanwhile, Asher Antonyzyn, Jason’s son, faces disappointment in upcoming episodes.
When it comes to exits, General Hospital seems to be keeping things steady for now. There are no major goodbyes this week. However, Jens Austin Astrup, who plays Kai Taylor, has reportedly been shifted to “off contract” status as of October 17, per Soap Opera News.
That doesn’t mean he’s out just yet, but it does hint that fans might be seeing a little less of him on screen in the near future.
