Eric and Roselyn’s road to romance dates back to 2005, when they first met at a party in Los Angeles. At the time, both were coming off of divorces (Eric was married to Allison Ford from 2001 to 2005; Roselyn wed Gary Stretch in 1998 and divorced in 2001). The two were smitten with one another, and a report from Swooon noted Eric asked Roselyn out for a sushi date three months after meeting. The two later went away for the weekend for their second date, and the rest was history.
Fast-forward two years, and Eric proposed to Roselyn in 2007 while kayaking at midnight in Roselyn’s home country of Puerto Rico. And while the engagement seemed romantic, Eric joked to InStyle that it came with some unexpected nerves.
“I was petrified she would drop the ring,” he told the outlet about proposing, per Hola! magazine. “It never left the box. She accepted. I shut the box and told her she could see it again on land.”
It didn’t take long for Eric and Roselyn to tie the knot, and they wed in a romantic ceremony on November 29, 2008. As a nod to Roselyn’s Puerto Rican roots, the two chose the San Cristobal fort in San Juan, Puerto Rico, as their wedding venue.
Even though both Roselyn and Eric were busy with their careers at that time (Roselyn had starred on Without a Trace and The Game Plan; Eric had recurring roles on Days of Our Lives, Wildfire, Brothers and Sisters, and more), the two were ready for a brand-new chapter.
On January 4, 2012, Eric and Roselyn welcomed their first child, a daughter named Sebella Rose. Eric got sentimental about his first child as she celebrated her 14th birthday in January 2026.
“Happy Birthday baby girl!” he wrote on Instagram at the time. “I can’t believe you are 14 @sebitennis. So proud of the young lady you’re becoming. Keep being the bright light that you are and may god continue to bless you! #happybirthdaytoyou #daddysgirl ❤️.”
In November 2017, Eric and Roselyn welcomed their son, Dylan Gabriel, and Roselyn was candid about how both of their kids were conceived through in vitro fertilization (IVF).
“Thank God that we have human beings that dedicate their lives to be fertility doctors,” she told People at the time. “They’re making miracles happen and they’re [helping] women like me who want to be moms so badly.”
Outside of raising a family together, Eric and Roselyn love finding ways to work on joint projects. In addition to recording their podcast, He Said, Ella Dijo, they starred in a 2019 Hallmark movie called A Taste of Summer. Fans may also remember seeing Roselyn pop up on The Rookie in season 2. The two even co-wrote a children’s book, Sebi and the Land of Cha Cha Cha, in 2017.
But the most important thing in each other’s lives is their family, as the two shared in a joint Instagram in January 2026.
“Mi familia … mi bendición 🙏🏼,” Roselyn captioned the post, which translates to “my family, my blessing” in Spanish.
