Donald Trump Jr. has officially said “I do” for a second time. He and his fiancée, model Bettina Anderson, quietly tied the knot in Palm Beach, Fla., ahead of their luxurious wedding weekend in the Bahamas.
TMZ obtained the couple’s marriage certificate, revealing that Don Jr. and Bettina exchanged vows on May 21, 2026. The private ceremony reportedly served as a legal formality before their destination wedding celebration.
One notable absence from the festivities will be Don Jr.’s father, President Donald Trump. He took to his social media platform, Truth Social, on May 22 and wrote, “While I very much wanted to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump Family, his soon to be wife, Bettina, circumstances pertaining to Government, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so.”
“I feel it is important for me to remain in Washington, D.C., at the White House during this important period of time. Congratulations to Don and Bettina!” he added.
Trump previously told the press that the ongoing war with Iran, along with several other matters, are part of the reason he won’t be in attendance.
“He’d like me to go. I said, ‘You know, this is not good timing for me,’” Trump explained, per RadarOnline. “I have a thing called Iran and other things. That’s one I can’t win on. If I do attend, I get killed. If I don’t attend, I get killed—by the fake news, of course, I’m talking about.”
Don Jr. reportedly even floated the idea of having his and Bettina’s wedding at the White House, but Trump shut that down quickly.
“Don Jr. absolutely loved the idea of a White House wedding,” one insider told Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop. “But Trump’s focus right now is legacy, the election, UFC, and global issues — not flowers, seating charts, and cake tastings.”
