Huddy didn’t grace us with his presence tonight. While his Heated Rivalry co-star Connor Storrie did attend the 2026 Actor Awards as a presenter, Hudson Williams did not make it to the ceremony.
Williams lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, but was actually in New York City earlier this weekend, where he flew to support Storrie as he made his Saturday Night Live debut as the star host (with Williams even making a hilarious cameo in one of the skits). Storrie made the trip to Los Angeles shortly after his SNL gig ended, but it seems Williams opted out.
Williams was not confirmed as a host at the award show tonight, so it makes sense that he didn’t attend. Plus, he is booked and busy following the success of his hockey romance show (which, thankfully, has been renewed for a second season).
The actor was recently photographed for an earth-shattering Wonderland cover, and starred in Balenciaga’s “Heart and Body” Fall 2026 campaign. He also landed a new role in Yaga, an eight-part mystery drama for Canadian streamer Crave, which he will film in Toronto.
He and Storrie (who landed an upcoming role of his own) will reconvene for Heated Rivalry season two later this year. Showrunner Jacob Tierney confirmed that production will begin in late summer, with a premiere expected in April 2027.
In the past couple of months, we’ve seen Williams at Fashion Month front rows, looking unreal at a Lunar New Year bash, and in his own chaotic Instagram posts, but it seems we have a ways to go until we see him take the stage—or appear on our screens—again.
