Things are still pretty up in the air when it comes to Summer House, but apparently the show is coming back, and both Ciara Miller and Amanda Batula will return and film scenes together. Though, Amanda’s presence will be in a much more limited capacity.
The Sun spoke to a source who says, “Amanda is expected to come back in a more limited role. Ciara is open to filming certain scenes with Amanda and agreed to do so for the audience, along with select scenes with the cast. But Amanda will not be back full-time. Next season of Summer House will look entirely different than audiences are used to. It will be a fresh start with an entirely new feeling for the show as a whole.”
The insider says that Bravo’s main priority is Ciara and that they were willing to drop major money to secure her return on the long-running show.
“The producers are betting it all on Ciara,” they said. “What Ciara wants, she will get in order to come back, so count on her to be leading the charge next season. Bravo fully views her as the star of the show and the future of the franchise, and they need her to return. They will basically pay up or do whatever it takes to make that happen and so far, it’s working.”
TBD on when Summer House starts filming, but Ciara is currently in Fiji hosting Love Island: Aftersun. Either way, next season is expected to focus on the fallout from Amanda’s secret relationship with West Wilson (who’s reportedly been axed), and cast members Lindsay Hubbard, Carl Radke, and Jesse Solomon will likely be back.
