Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are tying the knot this weekend and chose elite celebrity neighborhood Montecito as the location for their nuptials.
While the area has a string of famous faces who reside there, arguably among the most well know is Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
While Meghan is no stranger to a glittering event, it remains to be seen if she has made her way onto Selena‘s guest list for the wedding.
However, with Selena living in Encino, California, and just visiting Montecito for her wedding, it’s apparent the pair are not neighbors, and the reasons for Meghan to attend could be limited.
That said, anything is possible when it comes to the world of celebrity.
Guests who will be attending include Selena’s Only Murders In The Building co-stars.
Appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon recently, she was joined by her co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short.
As Jimmy brought up the topic of the wedding, she said, “It’s wonderful. I’m very lucky. It’s going well. I’m so excited.”
Steve then joked, “I’m sure our invites will arrive any day now,” with Selena then confirming that “of course” they’ve been invited to her big day.
She also joked that “Marty’s the ringbearer,” to which he took the opportunity to joke back, quipping, “We are all so excited because we love this lady, and we love her fiancé, Bad Bunny.”
Nicky Hilton, meanwhile, recently told Access Hollywood that her sister Paris Hilton will be attending the wedding.
Taylor Swift is also expected to attend her close friend’s nuptials; however, it is unclear if Travis Kelce will attend, as his NFL schedule clashes with the bash.
Selena and Benny reportedly paid $300,000 just for security for the three-day event. The wedding itself will be held on a private estate, with the whole property covered by marquees and patrolled by security to keep details of the big day under wraps.
Even their catering firm have reportedly even been kept out of the loop until the last minute with a strict schedule for delivering the food at the last minute. An insider told the Daily Mail, “They will be preparing food elsewhere then bring it in last minute.”

Reports suggest that celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss is in control of the event and is the only person apart from Selena and Benny to currently know the address where it is taking place. Guests will have to surrender their phones when they arrive, with 300 people expected to attend the ceremony.
El Encanto—a luxury resort charging $1,000 per night for a room—has been fully booked for the weekend, with many attendees at the wedding expected to stay there. Guests will also be treated to an afterparty hosted by Snoop Dogg, who previously worked with Benny on his 2022 single Bad Decisions.
Prestige reported that the wedding is designed to feel “intimate, grounded, and entirely their own.”
The couple will not have a traditional tiered cake; instead opting for a small personal cake to freeze. Selena’s grandmother will reportedly serve up her signature biscuits and gravy for guests on the menu, with Blanco’s Jewish heritage to be honored with a Hora.
The seating plan will reportedly merge together friends, family, and other guests by their energy, instead of status, in order to create a “space that feels like an extension of their lives.”
Selena and Benny first met when they worked together on her hit Same Old Love, before again collaborating on the 2019 single release, I Can’t Get Enough.
