The prince and princess, who met at the University of St Andrews, spent their first three years of married life in Anglesey, where Prince William undertook helicopter training to become an RAF search and rescue pilot.
“I loved my time up here. It was great fun… I do miss it. I miss the job, I miss the camaraderie,” Prince William told trainees at the station on Tuesday.
“Your time up here will go quickly, that’s the thing. You’ll look back with fond memories,” he said.
The royal couple welcomed their first child, Prince George, in 2013. Princess Charlotte was born two years after, followed by Prince Louis in 2018.
