LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — There is certainly no place like home.
“The Wizard of Oz at Sphere” reached a new milestone, selling more than 2 million tickets in less than five months, Sphere Entertainment announced Tuesday.

That translates into more than $260 million in ticket sales as of Jan. 19, according to the company’s news release.
Formatted specifically for Sphere Las Vegas, “The Wizard of Oz at Sphere” is a fully immersive experience meant to transport audiences into the cinema classic starring Judy Garland.
Sphere Las Vegas launched screenings on Aug. 28, and tickets are on sale through December this year.
It’s been a big week for Sphere Entertainment. The company on Sunday announced an agreement for a smaller-scale venue at National Harbor in Maryland.
