Tickets are available at redroom.club/events/108741.

The series concludes at 8 p.m. Oct. 18 with a concert featuring Lewis and Lucy Wainwright Roche at the UU Meeting House. Roche, known for her insightful and poetic songwriting, has toured with the Indigo Girls and performed internationally. Susan Jeremy performs one-woman show

Susan Jeremy is set to perform her one-woman show, “Robert Will Show You the Door (Tales of Being Fired),” during Provincetown’s Women’s Week.

The show is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Oct. 15-18 at the Red Room, 258 Commercial St., according to a community announcement.

Jeremy, a long-time Provincetown favorite, will portray 15 characters in the 60-minute performance. The show is a coming-of-age memoir that explores her experiences of being fired from various jobs, from a roller-skating cigarette seller to a substitute teacher.

The audience can expect a mix of humor and heartache as Jeremy navigates the absurd reasons for her job firings. After losing her job as a clown at a kid’s party, she realizes, “there is nowhere to go but stand-up comedy.” Ultimately, she steps away from show business and discovers her self-worth.
