Wonder Man follows Simon Williams, a Hollywood actor whose life takes an unexpected turn when he becomes a superhero. However, the future plans for this character are kept under wraps.
The series stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams a.k.a Wonder Man, with Ben Kingsley reprising his role as Trevor Slattery. The other cast members include Demetrius Grosse and Ed Harris. Bob Odenkirk and Courteney Cox are also rumored to be linked to the project; however, their involvement is not confirmed.
Behind the scenes, Andrew Guest is attached to the project as head writer, with Destin Daniel Cretton executive producing and directing the first two episodes.
