Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson’s reputations are now in tatters, with both having now lost their royal titles and their 30-room mansion in Windsor. It has previously been reported that Beatrice and Eugenie will largely remain unaffected by their parents’ actions, although many royal fans are now questioning whether they should also have their princess titles removed.
In a poll conducted by the Daily Express, which ran between 10.25am on March 13 and 7.45am on March 16, fans were asked if their titles should be stripped.
In a worrying result for the sisters, 1,344 [56 percent] of the 2,375 people who voted said they should have their titles removed.
Voting that their titles shouldn’t be removed, 920 people [39 percent] opted to vote ‘no’.
In addition, 111 people [five percent] voted that they weren’t sure what should happen to their princess titles.
Taking to the comment section, one fan wrote: “Yes they should. The Royal Family reputation is at an all time low. It needs thinning out including Megan and Harry and their children and Beatrice and Eugenie.”
Discussing Beatrice’s reported role in her father’s Newsweek interview in 2019, another added: “Absolutely, Beatrice was instrumental in planning and interviewing Emily Maitlis and her team before she added her approval for her father to go ahead and be interviewed.”
