A new trailer, ending theme song, and latest additional cast have been revealed for the upcoming Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days TV anime series. The series is scheduled to premiere in Japan on October 1, 2025.
The newest trailer previews the show’s main ending theme song “Better Off” by Japanese vocal group iScream.
Additionally, Konomi Kohara joins the anime’s voice cast as Okamoto.
Meanwhile, the anime’s previously announced voice cast includes:

- • Atsumi Tanezaki as Mei
- • Taito Ban as Hashiba
- • Rie Takahashi as Izumi

Shinpei Matsuo (REVENGER assistant director) is directing the anime series, with Deko Akao (Unnamed Memory) as series screenwriter, Toshihisa Kaiya (World Trigger [co-credit on Season 1]) as character designer, and Hideakira Kimura (Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise) as music composer. Ajiado is handling the animation production.
The anime is based on the romantic comedy manga by Yui Tamura, which has been serialized in Kodansha’s Comic Days website since June 27, 2021. Ten tankobon volumes have been released as of March 2025, with an 11th volume set to be published in Japan on October 8, 2025.

The manga also inspired a live-action film adaptation that premiered in Japan in November 2024.
Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days follows the titular accident-prone Yano and the worrywart class rep, Kiyoko Yoshida.
