Fans are slamming Alabama Barker’s parents, Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler, for her miscarriage, with some arguing that their poor parental choices led the young adult to where she is. 

Alabama recently shared a now-deleted vulnerable post revealing that she had lost her pregnancy and was at an emotionally low point in her life.

The young teenager was accused of sharing the post to gain attention, but has clapped back at critics, saying that her experience is in no way a “performance.”

Alabama took to social media to defend the post she made revealing her pregnancy loss. As confirmed by 1, the 19-year-old clapped back at critics, writing that it’s “insane” to think that she would ever share something so personal simply for attention.

“Accident or not, I don’t need to prove myself by posting,” Alabama wrote. “My journey is my own, not a performance, and not because someone else shared theirs,” she added.

In a long-deleted TikTok post, the influencer previously shared a compilation of videos and pictures, which captured her either crying or looking at a reflection of her pregnant belly. 

In the post’s caption, Alabama shared that ever since she got cheated on and lost her pregnancy, she would “get this feeling” that she would never be the same person again. 

Fans Slam Travis Barker And Shanna Moakler for Alabama Barker’s Tragic Pregnancy Loss

Fans soon shifted from accusing Alabama of posting for attention to accusing her parents of being seemingly negligent in their parenting style. 

One user publicly criticized Travis Barker, asking him to come and “get” his daughter, and another pointed accusing fingers at both Travis and his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler. 

“Um…..well…. 19 and pregnant. So many [are] blaming Travis for his daughter’s promiscuity when she’s Shanna Moakler’s too. [Therein] lies the problem.  Shanna. Enough said,” the user wrote.

A concerned fan left a comment on Travis’s page that read, “What’s going on with your daughter now? She’s pregnant again, like, isn’t this the second time?” 

One fan wrote, “Your dad should be ashamed. [You’re] a product of your family, unfortunately,” and another user added, “I wonder how her dad be feeling.” 

While some fans blamed Travis and Moakler for not training their daughter properly, others simply empathized with Alabama for her loss. 

One user noted that she’s “just a little girl” who was thrown into the spotlight by her parents’ fame.  “She lost a baby, and maybe she’s really going through something and wanted to share for support,” the user added. 

Alabama Barker Is Now Reportedly In A Better Place With Step Mother Kourtney Kardashian

Alabama’s vulnerable post comes after reports that she has reconciled with her father’s wife, Kourtney Kardashian, following a history of ups and downs in their relationship.

In June, sources revealed, as reported by The Blast, that the two had finally sat down to reconcile their differences.  An insider close to the situation said that  “Kourtney and Alabama have really turned a corner” thanks to Travis, who acted as a mediator between them. 

The source noted that although the step-mother and step-daughter are not yet “besties,” they’re being respectful towards each other and even recently went on a girls’ date together. 

Alabama Barker’s Feud With Bhad Bhabie Caused A Strain On Her Relationship With Kourtney Kardashian

Although Alabama and Kourtney are now friendly enough to go out on dates together, that was not the case a few months ago. 

The strain between Alabama and her step-mother was reportedly fueled by a widely publicized beef the drummer’s daughter had with Bhad Babie. 

Bhad Bhabie and Alabama had a falling out when the former accused the latter of stealing her boyfriend. Bhad Bhabie publicly called the media personality out and, in the process, threw shots at the Kardashian family. 

Meanwhile, Kourtney was reportedly displeased to see her family dragged into the messy feud and had attempted to keep Alabama in check. This allegedly caused her relationship with Alabama to become even more strained than it already was. 

Travis Barker Recently Came Under Fire For ‘Liking’ His Son’s Girlfriend’s Photos

Although Travis Barker no longer has to worry about the relationship between his wife and his daughter, he is still facing heavy criticism for his social media footprint. 

Just last month, The Blast reported that the Blink-182 drummer liked some bikini-clad photos posted by his son’s girlfriend and came under fire for it. 

Some users wrote that seeing the drummer liking his son’s girlfriend’s “thirst trap” photos made them uncomfortable, and others called him “gross” for the act.
