It’s been less than a week since BLACKPINK super star Jisoo and former One Direction singer Zayn released their collab ‘Eyes Closed’, and the music video has already racked up more than 30 million views. Quite the feat!

Now as the singers are enjoying the success of the song, Zayn has opened up to his fans revealing it makes him the ‘coolest dad around’. Taking to Instagram a few days after the song’s release, Zayn wrote: ‘Jisoo.. you’re an absolute legend, loved every part of this collaboration, thank you for making me the coolest dad around. 🤣❤️’.

Jisoo responded to Zayn’s post by replying: ‘You already are ☺️❣️’, to which thousands of fans replied with heart-eye emojis. More than 35k commented on Zayn’s post, with one writing: ‘Omg the caption😭😂❤️❤️❤️❤️’, with another saying: ‘Omg ZAYNNN!! This song is so beautiful! I had the snippet on repeat and now the song is too! I’m so proud of you and Jisoo!’. (sic)

Zayn has a five-year-old daughter called Khai with ex Gigi Hadid, and earlier this year he took his daughter to see BLACKPINK in concert. At the time, he shared an Instagram Story of himself with his daughter, writing ‘ME & KHAI LOVED IT’. BLACKPINK started their world tour earlier this year, which included one date in the UK, back in August. They are now on a break before resuming early next year.

This collaboration is Jisoo’s first work away from BLACKPINK since the release of ‘Amortage’, a mini-album released back in February. On the release date she shared several photos of the pair, writing: ‘Something very special we’ve been working on is finally out.🪐
