Ziggo ordered to negotiate new royalties deal for music on foreign channels

Ziggo must agree new copyright terms for music used in TV programmes and films shown on foreign channels on its cable network, a court has ruled. The ruling by the regional appeals court for Arnhem-Leeuwarden comes in a suit brought by the rights collector Sena, which represents artists and producers of recorded music.
