Quando Marco Ferral Hernandez crescia ao longo da rodovia Buford, ele lutou para encontrar oportunidades para fomentar seu amor pela arte. Ele gostava de ler e escrever poesia, mas descobriu o amor pela música quando começou a sexta série, depois de ouvir sua professora tocar a música tema do Super Mario na flauta.
Depois de anos aprendendo saxofone e aprendendo violão sozinho, ele se formou em composição musical na faculdade.
Agora que se formou e voltou para Atlanta, ele fica surpreso ao ver como a comunidade artística da Buford Highway cresceu.
“Eu queria ser a pessoa que gostaria de ter sido quando era mais jovem”, disse ele recentemente no Dresden Park, em Chamblee.
