Funny in Pink presents “Women in Arts”

Funny in Pink, an all-women’s stand-up group, will be taking center stage at Baoshi Food Hall + Bar on Tuesday, March 24, from 8 to 10 p.m.

Tickets for the showcase start at $7.68. The event will also celebrate International Women’s Month during March.

TWICE K-Pop Party

Also taking place at Baoshi Food Hall + Bar, the restaurant will host a free TWICE K-Pop-themed party on Wednesday, March 25, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The event promises a high-energy night playing all the best hits and electric performances from the South Korean girl group.

There will also be themed drinks and a dance floor for dance lovers. Guests are encouraged to dress in their best pink.

“Broadway Bound” Performances

The Pembroke Pines Theatre of the Performing Arts began its spring production of “Broadway Bound” by Neil Simon on Friday, March 20, at the Susan B. Katz Theater of the Performing Arts.

Tickets are $40 for adults and $30 for students and seniors. During the weekend, PPTOPA will stage four performances: Friday, March 27, at 8 p.m., Saturday, March 28, at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., and a closing matinee show on Sunday, March 29.

Currently, the box office is running two specials for ticket prices. For those who wish to purchase online, putting in the code “Special,” will get you $5 off your ticket. The other is to let the box office choose your seat for $25 in cash.

The show’s run time is about two and a half hours. Set in 1940s New York City, the comedy-drama follows brothers Eugene and Stanley Jerome as they try to break into comedy writing while coping with family drama at home.
