Prince Andrew is reportedly bracing for further embarrassment as a new book, filled with more revelations about the Duke of York, is slated for publication next year.
The 65-year-old Royal is already grappling with the fallout from Andrew Lownie’s recently published book, entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York. The book contains a series of damaging allegations about the prince, which he has yet to respond to. Lownie claims to have sourced these stories from reliable informants.
Now, it appears that Lownie is set to pen another explosive book, this time using information provided by Prince Andrew‘s friends who have come forward since the first book was published.
It seems these friends of the Duke are keen to provide a more comprehensive portrayal of his character despite initially declining to participate in the first book.
In an interview with the Mail on Sunday, Mr. Lownie revealed, “The amazing and astonishing thing that’s happened since Entitled came out is that people have come forward in droves with more stories to tell about Prince Andrew.
The author also revealed that he omitted some allegations from his recently published book due to legal considerations.
The Duke of York has remained mum on the assertions made in the book, titled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York.
Andrew’s former spouse, Sarah Ferguson, who is a key figure in the book, has yet to respond to the allegations.
Last week, reports surfaced that the couple’s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, are currently maintaining their distance from their father.
