Modern Family‘s Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Ariel Winter are among the 24 celebrities participating in season five of Fox’s Celebrity Name That Tune. Season five will also feature actors Aisha Tyler, Mira Sorvino, Omar Epps, Kal Penn, Debi Mazar, Craig Robinson, and Torrey Devitto.
The fifth season premieres on September 15, 2025. New episodes air on Mondays at 8pm ET/PT, followed by Celebrity Weakest Link.
“Beloved one-hour musical game show Celebrity Name That Tune, which tests contestants’ music knowledge as they battle it out in an assortment of challenging musical games for a chance to win over $100,000 returns for season five. Tony Award winner and Emmy Award nominee Jane Krakowski hosts, and Grammy Award-winning producer Randy Jackson serves as band leader,” reads Fox’s synopsis. “Each one-hour episode of Celebrity Name That Tune is comprised of two stand-alone half-hour contests, each pitting two players—either celebrity or civilian pairings—against each other as they test their knowledge of songs performed by the live band.
Each contest features a rotating variety of games from the original format, before the iconic Bid-a-Note round. The player with the most money at the end of Bid-a-Note wins the game and takes his or her bank into the Golden Medley bonus round for a chance to win additional cash and potentially the life-changing $100,000 grand prize.”
The game show is produced by FOX Entertainment Studios, Prestige Entertainment, and BiggerStage. Sean O’Riordan, Shane Byrne, Noah Rubenstein, and Tom Ruff serve as executive producers.
