Peter Frampton, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy-decorated rock veteran, is the latest subject in a new public television series titled The Art of Music. The episode was filmed in front of an invite-only audience at New York City’s The Metropolitan Museum of Art and centers on Frampton’s answers to a series of music and career-related questions presented by fellow rock great, Warren Haynes.

In conversation, Haynes asks Frampton about his musical journey, which reveals insight into the “Baby, I Love Your Way” hit maker’s creative pursuits, which interlace responses to other timeless classics like “Do You Feel Like We Do” and “Show Me The Way.” Commenting on his experience, Frampton said, “It was wonderful performing for The Art of Music series, it’s such a unique way of putting art and music together, and to have done this at The Met, what an honor.”

The Art of Music comes from iMaggination’s Don Maggi, offering viewers an intimate and rare glimpse into artists’ lives and creative endeavors. For Frampton’s role, the episode comes five decades after the success of the top-selling live LP, Frampton Comes Alive! In the interview, he analyzes select material on the pivotal collection by pairing it with tales from the past that illustrate the momentous effect it had on his career.
