Dancing With the Stars, ABC’s celebrity dance competition, officially returned to our screens for Season 34 on Tuesday. As with every season of the hit series, a new crop of celebrities was announced incrementally and has finally hit the ballroom to compete for the mirror ball trophy.
The show, which has been on the air since 2005, wrapped a successful season on ABC last fall, ranking as the top live TV show watched by 18- to 34-year-old viewers, Deadline reported. Season 33 had the highest viewership in three years and crowned The Bachelor alum Joey Graziadei and professional dancer Jenna Johnson as the winners.

When did the new season of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ start?
Season 34 of Dancing With the Stars premiered on Tuesday, Sept. 16. The show will air live on ABC and Disney+ from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET every Tuesday and will be available for streaming the next day on Hulu. The date of the finale has yet to be announced.
Who is in the Season 34 cast?
The full cast of stars and their pro pairings was revealed on Good Morning America on Sept. 3 and are as follows: The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt, Hilaria Baldwin, Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles, NBA all-star Baron Davis, social media personality Alix Earle, reality TV star Dylan Efron, The Lost Boys star Corey Feldman, Boy Meets World star Danielle Fishel, The Parent Trap actress Elaine Hendrix, Scott Hoying of Pentatonix, Robert Irwin, Lauren Jauregui of Fifth Harmony and comedian Andy Richter.
Later in the summer, Jan Ravnik, a professional dancer who toured with Taylor Swift, was announced as a new pro joining Season 34.

Who are the judges and hosts for Season 34?
Former contestants Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro have returned as hosts. Hough joined the show as a professional dancer in 2007 — and won twice — and was a judge from 2014 to 2017. Ribeiro, an actor best known for his role as Carlton Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, won DWTS Season 19 and then became a cohost for Season 31.
Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough have also returned as the judges. Inaba and Tonioli have been on the show since its debut, while Derek Hough was crowned a winner on the show six times as a professional dancer before becoming a judge in 2020.
While he’s neither a judge nor host, Season 33 winner Graziadei is returning in a slightly different capacity: As host of the Dancing With the Stars Official Podcast, which debuts on Thursday.
“I couldn’t be more excited and honored to be joining the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ team in this new way, bringing audiences exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes content.
