The “Golden Eve” special will feature highlights from the presentation of the Globes’ tribute awards, the Cecil B. DeMille Award and the Carol Burnett Award. It’s set to air Jan. 8 on CBS and Paramount+. This year, the Globes held a separate ceremony for those kudos, which were presented to Viola Davis and Ted Danson. The 2026 recipients will be unveiled soon.
The plan for a Golden Week of events and celebrations in Los Angeles is designed to generate buzz and build community within the entertainment industry. CBS will also promote the Golden Week theme heavily on air including integrations with a range of CBS shows.
