Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl album rollout is just beginning.
Today, it was confirmed that the superstar will be a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on October 6, three days after the release of her much-awaited 12th studio album.
The comedian shared the short clip to Instagram this morning of him playing roulette in a casino setting, and seeing his ball land on the number 13, Swift’s lucky number. “Baby, that’s show business for you,” he says as a line of showgirls walk by him in feather- and crystal-covered costumes that resemble the ensembles Swift wears on her album art.
“Not a lot going on at the moment,” Fallon joked in the caption, clearly hinting that the “Fortnight” singer will make her arrival onto his stage very soon.
Swift’s appearance on the show is very surprising, as the record-breaking singer famously avoids interviews and unnecessary public appearances. However, Swifties know that the superstar entered a new, much more open era this year, one which was solidified with her candid appearance on fiancé Travis Kelce’s podcast, New Heights.
During the lengthy podcast chat, Swift revealed all the details on The Life of a Showgirl, including her album art and track list. She also revealed cheeky details about her life at home with Kelce, and of course, dropped plenty of Easter eggs about things to come.
We can’t wait to hear what news she drops this October on Fallon’s show.
