Benito Skinner wears nothing but a robe in sexy new selfie

Back in September, Prime Video announced that Benito Skinner’s breakout queer TV show Overcompensating was green lit for a second season.

As a refresher, the series is inspired by Skinner’s own coming-out experience in his personal life, so fans resonated with many of the relatable themes. The first season follows Skinner’s character, Benny, as he heads off to college at Yates University in the closet after building a reputation as a star high school athlete and homecoming king.

Without spoiling too much, Benny starts to explore his sexuality and navigate all of the painfully awkward moments that come with experimenting in college. Along the way, his self-doubt starts to create mayhem amongst his friend group, which resulted in the ultimate cliffhanger during the season 1 finale. Add in celebrity cameos from stars such as Megan Fox, Charli xcx, Bowen Yang, Matt Rogers, Lukas Gage, and more, and you’ve got a certified gay hit.

Cast, crew, and fans were manifesting a season 2 announcement shortly after Overcompensating premiered, so news of the renewal had everyone celebrating all over social media. Right away, Skinner started teasing all of the shenanigans in store for future episodes, which will include plenty of sexy moments, naturally. The star even revealed that he tried casting Heated Rivalry stars Hudson Williams and Robbie G.K., but their packed schedules prevented them from starring in season 2.

In fact, the handsome actor even promised fans that he will “ALWAYS be a whore on TV” by posting a slew of thirst traps all over social media. Well, Skinner is living up to that statement in a recent Instagram carousel featuring new pics as filming for season 2 of Overcompensating wraps up. A premiere date hasn’t been announced just yet, but check out the social media highlights below!
