Snoop Dogg has been spotted lapping up a piano recital at a live classical music venue in Melbourne.
The famous rapper made the pit stop at Tempo Rubato in Brunswick to enjoy symphonic sounds by Tristan Lee ahead of his headline act at the AFL pre-game grand final show on Saturday.
In a photo shared to the venue’s Instagram, Snoop can be seen seated in front of a grand piano played by Lee as he nonchalantly gazes out in to the crowd.
The singer’s most recent public appearance appears to be a mellow way to wind down after the 53-year-old performed a DJ set to a pumped up crowd at The Espy in St Kilda on Thursday night.
Snoop performed his biggest hits including Drop It Like It’s Hot and Gin And Juice while taking drags from a joint, which he reportedly shared with a fan at the end of his set.
At a media call on Thursday, Snoop Dogg said he was “honoured” to be chosen for the pre-game show.
“I know this is not just a sport. It is a way of life. I know it’s not just a team or a club. It is part of your DNA. So I understand what is at stake. I’m here to do my part and bring what I bring to the table,” he said.
Tash Sultana will form part of Snoop Dogg’s band, while local support acts including Baker Boy, who performed at the 2021 grand final in Perth, will also return to the stage.
