BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Taylor Swift’s 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl” is here and multiple album release parties are set for Friday.
Sandstone Goods – 1403 Allen Rd Suite 100
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., you can enjoy the new album along with matcha for purchase by a Bakersfield company, Bunie Baby. sandstone Goods is located at 1403 Allen Rd Suite 100. There will also be free mimosas for those 21 and older with snacks while supplies last.
Club Control Studio – 1610 20th St
This all-age event will include bracelet making, music and photos from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Club Control says wearing your favorite era outfit is highly encouraged for the event.
Upmarket – 1430 17th St
This event will begin at 7 p.m. and will run until 9 p.m. There will be themed mocktails such as Lavender Haze, Champagne Problems and Sparks Fly along with a charm bracelet station. Upmarket has all the Taylor merch such as stickers, greeting cards, keychains and more for purchase. Each ticket will include a distinct ERAS cookie of your choice. Click here to buy tickets.
Skateland – 415 Ming Ave
Skateland is hosting a skate party featuring “The Life of a Showgirl” from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Admission for the event is $10. For a free skate rental, bring a gently used children’s Halloween costume. By bringing a costume you will be entered to win the new album and a record player.
