Taylor Swift and Mr. Taylor Swift are ushering in the superstar’s showgirl era.
The couple stepped out as the pop singer’s 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, dropped, tossing Swifties into a tornado of Easter eggs and lyrical fantasies that nodded to all of her eras and read as a love letter to fiancé Travis Kelce.
In an Instagram post shared by a friend, Swift and Kelce are pictured at Kelce’s 1587 Prime steakhouse in Kansas City, Missouri, looking cheery and in love. For the celebratory night, Swift dressed the part of a woman who means business—show business.
The singer was all Reputation-coded in a black tank top and red-and-black plaid skirt. She completed the grungy look with black leather ankle boots with buckle details. Her sparkly diamond engagement ring was in full display as she wrapped her arm around her husband-to-be.
The NFL star kept things sporty in a light-pink polo shirt from Jacquemus and black shorts.
Kelce proposed to Swift this August, and while Swift finished her new album before his proposal, she does make plenty of nods to her future with him in songs like “Wood,” “Wish List,” and “Opalite.”
As she continues her album rollout, the pop superstar will appear in three different late-night shows: The Graham Norton Show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Late Night With Seth Meyers. We can’t wait to see what Easter eggs she drops for us next.
