Actor Alexander Skarsgård, best known for roles in projects like True Blood, Big Little Lies, and Succession, got fans’ hearts racing as he walked the red carpet for the screening of his latest film Pillion at the BFI London Film Festival on Oct. 18.
To attend the event, Skarsgård went for a daring look, rocking black leather pants that laced up the front and a top that looked like a button-up shirt until you got to the halter neckline and low-back, which left his muscular arms on full display. Skarsgård completed the look with a leather tie and black boots, posing in front of a motorcycle at one point.

The ensemble was very fitting for the premiere of his movie Pillion, in which he plays an intense biker named Ray who starts a BDSM relationship with a timid man named Colin, played by Harry Melling. The film has been very well-received so far, and it premieres in theaters later this year.
Immediately after seeing Skarsgård’s bold red carpet look, fans took to social media to share their thoughts, with very few holding back when it came to their reactions.
One person called the look “life-changing,” while others said, “He’s so insane for this, I love him,” “He does such important work,” and “im speechless.”
“He really does just wear everything and i still down bad every time,” wrote another appreciative fan, as someone else commented, “Alexander Skarsgård knows his effect on other people and he is using it with these clothes and I think we should all be grateful for it.”
More fans called the outfit “iconic” and “unhinged,” as a different fan declared, “im kinda obsessed with him.”

Skarsgård also walked a portion of the carpet with one of the dogs featured in the film, adding some adorableness to his head-turning look.
This isn’t the first time Skarsgård’s red carpet looks during promotion for Pillion caught attention, as earlier this year, when the movie premiered at Cannes Film Festival, he rocked thigh-high leather boots that got people talking.
Earlier this month, Skarsgård opened up about why he decided to sign on to Pillion, telling Variety, “To me, what was important was that this felt like an opportunity to tell a story about a subculture I hadn’t seen portrayed this way – with so much authenticity.”
He was drawn into the story by the logline for the script, and after reading it, he was hooked, saying, “It felt so original, and that’s quite rare.”
